“Come quick. There’s a cat that looks in terrible conditions. I’m not sure if she will make it.”

This is the SMS we woke up to… Not how we wanted to start our day to be honest.

Apple was attacked by a dog, he bit and shook her. Poor poor Apple. We need your help tonight to make sure Apple has the best care possible. We will be doing everything we possibly can for her.

Apple has a broken rib Air in her chest Blood in her lung. The vet is seeing a shadow on her lung on xrays and trauma to her abdomen and liver. It’s too terrible for words.

She needs surgery. She is in great pain and needing pain relief and oxygen and isn't eating on her own as yet.

We need to raise at least $4,000 for Apple. For her surgery, for her care.

We will be there every step of the way for Apple. It’s in our nature. It’s what we do best. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

As you can imagine, this was not an expense we had budgeted for. Times are tough. We know that. We’re hearing it everywhere we go. There is no denying this but we are asking for you to chip in for Apple. It’s urgent. It really is. We need these funds to give Apple the best chance of a better life.
